I’ve always been into clean products but once I watched HBO max’s Not so Pretty documentary compiled with becoming pregnant I was on a major search for clean products safe for TTC and pregnancy. My search became easier after incorporating these apps into my research:
These companies help dissect the ingredients of products. With the help of these apps and friends, I’ve come up with my favorite products for TTC, pregnancy and everyday life to add to your daily regimen now.

Griffin Remedy‘s clean shampoo and conditioners
Randomly I was getting an irritated scalp after washing my hair. I finally got fed up and set out on a clean shampoo journey. I asked all my clean product-loving friends what they use, then put them into my new apps.
Griffin Remedy was the best hair product I came up with that was easily accessible. They have their own website, but they also sell on Amazon. I have used both the Deep Hydration Restorative Shampoo and the Daily Renewal Conditioner. These were life-changing for me and I’m looking forward to trying out their Leave-In Treatment.
Not only do they have hair care products, but they also have hand soap, bubble baths, and more!
They sell bulk-sized products if you have bottles you’d prefer to refill. This is a great route to take if you are trying to be more environmentally friendly or economical.
Osea’s clean skincare
Osea’s Advanced Protection Cream is one of my favorite products I own. With a product I use daily, I felt it was essential to be very clean for my pregnancy. It is thick and creamy so a little goes a long way. I’ve owned my current moisturizer for 6 months and doubt I am halfway finished.
In addition, I use this for daytime and nighttime moisturizing, but if a more lightweight moisturizer is what you prefer for daytime Atmosphere Protection Cream may be more your speed.

Pelindaba Lavender products safe for TTC and Pregnancy
I discovered this store on a trip to Savannah, Georgia. Among many products that I purchased the organic lavender body oil was a favorite.
As long as you are not allergic to lavender essential oils and it is diluted these are clean products safe for TTC, pregnancy and everyday life. I used this oil often while pregnant. It safely hydrated my stretching skin and of course, was very relaxing!
Herbivore’s bath rituals safe for pregnancy
BOTANICAL BATH RITUAL Soak + Soften Set Size 8 oz Herbivore Botanicals
This was given to me as a gift when I was pregnant. Being a lover of baths this was gold. Though it is a clean product it does not skimp on luxury. The Coconut Milk Bath Soak Size 4 oz Herbivore Botanicals smells amazing! I’m not even that into coconut, but I literally said “WHOA” when I opened this little container. On top of the delicious smell, it leaves your skin hydrated and silky smooth.
Next is the CALM Soaking Salts Size 8 oz Pink Himalayan Salt Herbivore Botanicals. Bath salts are among my favorite bath products. They easily dissolve, smell amazing and have benefits with great results like relaxation. Being able to trust that they were safe for me and my baby made me even more secure in my relaxing ritual.
Lastly in this gift package was the Coco Rose – Coconut Oil Body Polish and it does not disappoint. A moisturizing exfoliating that smells amazing and doesn’t leave your skin feeling coated or oily. The scent of this product is more rose than coconut and leaves a subtle floral fragrance on your skin.
Herbivore has many clean products safe for TTC, pregnancy and everyday life, but always check for any products you are trying to avoid before use.
Humble deodorant safe for everyday life
I’ve always been picky about my Deodorant. For a product that is used daily and in an area filled with lymph nodes, it should be a clean brand. I could probably write an entire post about which hippy deodorants work and which do not.
My current favorite is Humble Deodorant. They pride themselves on having nothing bad included in their products and the best part – they do not leave you feeling stinky or as if you need to reapply. I have tried many of their scents but tried and true scent for me, clearly, is lavender.
They also sell assorted packs if you want to try different scents or get your husband on board. Safe deodorants are important for everyone.
Clean products safe for TTC and pregnancy are important, but it can be time-consuming and difficult to find what products are safe that are good quality. With help of friends, documentaries and clean product apps I have found clean products safe for every day and every stage of becoming a mom; that I love and work for me.
